You can apply false lash extensions to a person’s natural lash, cleanse the area, and remove false lash extensions.
How do you obtain an Eyelash Technician License?
You are required to complete a 14-hour lash course in a licensed cosmetology school, pass school certification, and pass the Minnesota cosmetology exam to obtain your license.
What are the requirements to apply for an Eyelash Technician License?
1.) Must be at least 17 years of age.
2.) Complete a school enrollment form.
3.) Pay the required fee.
4.) Have a high school diploma, GED, or recognized equivalent.
5.) Complete a 14-hour eyelash extension training with a cosmetology school like MN Lash Artistry.
a.) Pass school certification.
b.) Pass the Minnesota exams: State Laws/rules, General Theory Exam, and Written Practical Exam.
6.) Upon passing Minnesota exams, submit the MN Board of Cosmetology Initial Operator License application and pay the required state fee. Processing time is within 15 business days.
